The Company was formed in 1981 as a joint venture between Musson (Jamaica) Ltd and General Accident Fire & Life Assurance Corp plc (?GAFLAC?). In 1998, the Company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Musson (Jamaica) Ltd, retaining the General Accident brand. The Company provides property casualty and general insurance products and related claims and other services to both individual and commercial customers.
