Jamaica Broilers Group Ltd’s (JBG) Net Profit for the quarter and six-month period ended October 30, 2010 (Q02 2010/2011, 6M 2010/2011) declined 44.39% and 47.06% to JMD 173.43mm and JMD 392.78mm in the respective periods. Earnings per Share (EPS) stood at JMD 0.15 and JMD 0.33 in the quarter and year-to-date (YTD) period respectively, compared with JMD 0.26 and JMD 0.62 in the corresponding periods a year earlier.
The decline comes as results from its Ethanol Operations Division declined 89.1% to JMD 61.65mm.
