Prior to joining SSL, Mr. Samms was recruited by the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) in 2004 as a Network/System Administrator where he earned his IT practical experience. Mr. Samms is a member of the Excelsior Family, as a graduate of Excelsior High School and Excelsior Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Business & Computing.
Additionally, Mr. Samms went to the University of Technology to further his IT training, where he majored in networking and obtained a B.Sc. in Information Technology.
Mr. Samms is the holder of several Computer certificates ranging from AS400, Microsoft Office, Windows 2003 server, etc.
Mr. Samms is a Member of the Gordon Town Community Council and a Member of the Gordon Town Library Association.
