Prior to joining SSL, Ms. Thelwell worked at Scotia Jamaica Life Insurance Company Ltd/Scotia DBG Investments Ltd from 2008 to 2009 as well as the Ministry of Finance and Planning where she gained valuable experience and exposure to the financial services industry.
Ms. Thelwell joined SSL in March 2009 as a Research Analyst and became the Senior Investment Analyst in May 2010 and was further promoted to Manager, Research in October 2010. She also serves in the capacity of Analyst, Corporate Finance & Advisory Services.
Ms. Thelwell holds a B.Sc. in Banking & Finance from the University of the West Indies (Hons.) and was awarded Top Performer B.Sc. Banking and Finance with the highest overall GPA by the Department of Management Studies. She passed the CFA Level I examination in July 2010.
