LAS seeks to ascertain possible interest in Globe Insurance Co of Jamaica Ltd

Lascelles deMercado & Co Ltd (LAS), as part of its ongoing review of its strategic options and direction, has engaged
advisors to undertake an exercise to ascertain possible interest by established finance industry players in Globe Insurance
Co of Jamaica Ltd (Globe). The Company stated that, at this stage, that no offers to purchase Globe have been
received and no decision has been taken by the Board of LAS to divest Globe in whole or in part.
